The cemetery is located on a very steep hill. The tombstone is about half way up the hill to the left of the road leading into the cemetery and facing toward the main highway about in line with the old "Mingo Meeting House" church.
William S. Ferree, Corporal, Company C Pa 102nd Regiment. His tombstone reads: William S. son of Wm. & M. Ferree. Was killed in the Battle of the Wilderness, May 5, 1864. Age 20 Yrs. 7 Mos. & 7 Days.
